Women's Ministry

Welcome to Christ Community Church Women's page. Here you'll find info on the events & happenings of our women's ministry. You can also reach out to our Women's Coordinator, Emily Reed (emilye687@gmail.com) with any questions.

Typical Women's Ministry Events

Bible Studies: In the fall, spring, and summer, we usually offer a Scripture-based bible studies to encourage our women and deepen their understanding of the Word of God. During the Fall and Spring these studies are usually built in to our Wednesday programming.

Fellowship Events: We usually offer 1-2 social/fellowship events each quarter. In the past, we've done dinners out, craft nights, household goods "swaps," and other fun events. These are usually offered on a one-time basis. Keep checking this page for future events!

Conferences/Training: Usually once/year we plan or join a local conference for training and encouragement. Our last conference was Nancy Guthrie's Biblical Theology Workshop for women (Feb 2020). Conferences have been on hiatus due to COVID, but we hope to rejoin them soon.

Summer Potlucks: In the summers, our women usually meet twice a month for a good, old-fashioned (but often with paleo or low carb options) potluck! Potlucks kick off at 7pm and end when the mosquitoes eat more than we do.

PCA's Women's Ministry: Want to connect with our denomination's women's ministry events? Click the CDM's Women's Ministry Page for more info. You can also get information on the PCA's annual women's conferences here.
